Tom has made it half way through his clinicals already. It just goes by so fast. This time he is in the Adult-neuro unit for PT and that has been a little more challenging than his first rotation in an outpatient ortho clinic. He did much better than expected for his mid-term evaluation which was encouraging. Only 3 weeks left and then he'll start his classes up again for the winter/spring semester. On Saturday, Tom and I went to register for baby. I think at first we were pretty overwhelmed by all the choices there are for such a little person. At one point I had to use the restroom and left the scanner with Tom....who knows what he scanned while I was gone. I think he had a little fun. We had a great time picking things out and above is a picture of the bedding that we liked.
We've made a list of names and are trying to come up with that perfect name for our little girl. It's no easy task. A boy...that was easy and no it wasn't going to be Tom V. But we're not having as easy of a time with a girl name. I think it might be a while before we come up with that one.

We saw that bedding too...very cute! I love it! We had a hard time choosing a name for Kendra too. Girl names were harder for us to agree on. We ended up getting lists of popular names, and going to the end of them because we didn't want a popular name. We loved the meaning of Kendra, and that is was not popular when she was born. Knew we wanted Grace for the middle name, so tada...that was it!
Everytime we went in for my dr. appt.'s I always asked if they delivered any Kendra's. Never a one! We stuck with it:). Isabella was sooooo popular when Kendra was born, or Bella. The doctors would tell us numerous times, no Kendras, but another Bella:) LOL
Nice to hear an update, Amanda! I would love to see a new belly shot:). How are you feeling? Sleeping? Etc?
Take care!
Lovely bedding! Where are you registered?
Our boy name was easy since we named him after my dad-in-law but girl names are so much more fun! We had several great (at least in our minds) girl names to choose from. There's just more variety and cuteness in picking a girl name. What's on your short list? or aren't you sharing?
How much more time does Tom have in the degree?
i love the set - how cute....i know troy and i have looked at some - we will probably register in the next month or so....life is so busy right now - we don't have a free saturday for quite a while.
we had 3 girls names picked out and 1 boy name - so now that we are using up the boy name we will be in trouble if we have another boy :) ...how are you doing?
I like the bedding you picked out. Registering is a lot of work, there is so much to choose from. Thankfully my sister came down and did it for me. :) Good luck with the names. Ben was still looking at the baby name book while I was in labor!
adorable bedding. we picked gender neutral bedding... which sounds boring, but i actually am in love with it.
we had an easy time picking out a girl name, but it took us longer to pick one our for a boy. we are still unable to agree on a middle name for both genders. everytime i hear a name i like i write it down to discuss it with jas and he usually shoots it down. oh well, i am sure we can wing it if our baby comes before we figure one out.
i can't wait to hear with the name you come up with. are you keeping it a secret until she is born?
