July 4th

This year we headed over to Tom's parent's house to celebrate the 4th with his family.  His sister and her husband and little girl came all the way from Pennsylvania too!

We also helped with some planting while we were there...yep, they put us to work. :)

Easter Festivities

My parents were able to come and join us for Easter weekend.  B was so excited.  On Saturday,  B opened her Easter basket in the morning.

After having a fun morning, we had 2 Easter egg hunts one around 11am and one at 4pm.  The first hunt was at our city park. We were absolutely FREEZING!!!  I was really glad that B's age bracket 2 and under was the first to go.

The second Easter egg hunt was with friends from church in another local park. It was a whole lot warmer by then and we really enjoyed getting together with friends.
