In our house, our kids are known as "keepers," the ones God allowed us to keep after enduring five miscarriages.

Good News...
Today, Tom recieved the email he's been waiting for for a very long time. It was an email saying that he has been asked to interview for the Doctoral program of a local University for Physical Therapy. We are so excited and praying that the Lord would make His will evident to us. Tom's interview is on February 17th at 8:45am. If he does get accepted, we will be moving over there sometime before school begins in the fall.

Congratulations Amanda & Tom! Does the interview guarantee his acceptance? Has he looked into Concordia University Wisconsin? They have an excellent DPT program.
Alicia
Hi alicia,
To answer your questions...i found your blog link on Katie Bruno's page.
Tom already has his bachelor's in pre-physical therapy from BJU. The only school in this area that will take BJU credits is Grand Valley State. So, his interview that is on Feb. 17th at 8:45am is in order to get into the DPT program. So, we won't know if Tom has been accepted until sometime after his interview.
As far as having kids...we would love it, but the Lord has just not allowed us to have some keepers yet. We've had 3 pregnancies that haven't lasted for one reason or another. A lot of ups and downs, but we know that God has a perfect plan for us.
Hopefully, i've answered most of those questions. It's so great to hear from you.
Amanda
Hey Amanda,
That's great! Look forward to hearing how things go. Glad to hear how God is moving in your lives.

Amanda,
Keep me posted on Tom's interview! What are you up to now? When Tom gets into DPT school, we'll have to sympathize with each other - both of us having hubbies in full time school.
Must be off to bed dear. I'll check in with you later gator,
ALicia
Alicia,
Currently, i have 7 piano students that i teach each week...lots of patience required..that's for sure! It's been great to see them excel and progress in their piano playing and i'm enjoying it.
I'll keep you posted on the school stuff, and the possibility of being a fellow sympathizer with a hubby in grad. school.
It's so good to hear from you.
Amanda
Amanda,
Hey! I didn't know you've been to my blog; and I'm on your list of blogging friends! :) Did you see my pictures of Daniel's family? They are ever-growing. I had to laugh when I saw Janelle's bog on your list. I make fun of her for it. Poor thing. She doesn't have the internet at home though. :)
I, like Alicia, can sympathize with the unique nature of being in graduate school full time. But, after May, we'll only have one degree left! Chris is planning on getting his PhD at the U of Aberdeedn (Aberdeen, Scotland) beginning in the Fall of 2007.
I'm looking forward to checking your blog often!
Blessings,
Katie
