Spring Break

This past week was spring break for Tom, and we have enjoyed spending many days together since my schedule has been so light at work lately. Tom has been busy working on the crib we were given from his sister. He's been sanding it and getting it ready to stain. We also found a dresser on craig's list online for $13.00 and tom is going to do that in the same stain color after stripping the paint. He's working hard for his little girl and I'll make sure to post some pictures when he's done. My dad is working on building us a changing table. I know that it will be so beautiful when he's done. He always does such a great job. It's amazing to think that we only have 12 wks and 2 days left until our due date. Our last appointment went well and I'm measuring a little bit ahead but nothing to be worried about. I found out that when we had our 20 wk ultrasound that the due date given from that was May 31st. But hey, baby's come when they come. My next appointment is in 2 wks when i get my gluclose test done.

Today was also piano recital day. It was held at the local music society where my monthly piano meetings are held. There were 100 children participating in 6 different recital times from different piano teachers in the area. It's nice to have this option and not have to rent a place and get everything together. Three of my students participated this year. I think I get as nervous as my students do. All three of them did very well. I do have a praise about piano lessons.... This past month I had a new student begin with me and next week I have another one starting, so all together I now have 8 students. It's been a blessing to see the Lord bring in more students as the time gets closer to when I'll be quitting my job with Younkers in May and just teaching piano from home while taking care of our little girl. We know that He'll bring the right amount of students to help provide what is needed for our family.

Valentine's Day

This year tom and i waited to go out until friday night for our valentine meal. We went out for dinner at Macaroni Grill. It was great being able to go out for a nice dinner....not something you get to do a lot of while being in school. After dinner, we rented a movie for the evening and just spent the rest of the night at home. It was a wonderful evening.
The pregnancy is going well. Our little one is kicking harder and harder as she gets bigger. My belly has been popping out more and more. It's sure hard to bend over and my winter coat is getting a little too snug. I just need it to make it a little bit longer.... Just recently I went to JC Penny's and found some great deals. The sweater that I'm wearing in the photo I found on the clearance rack for $4.97. I was also able to get some other tops for $3.97. I love it when I can find such awesome deals.
On Friday, Tom had his last day being at his clinicals. Hurrah!! So, his second round of clinicals is officially over. His classes begin on monday though...no breaks this time.
