We're having a girl!!!

We had our ultrasound yesterday and found out that it is indeed a girl. Our little girl was pretty wiggly and had a case of the hiccups. When the sonographer decided to try and find out what our little one was...our little girl put her hand down there so that we couldn't see. Finally she moved it and we saw that it was a girl. She's a very modest little girl. The following picture was the best one we got since she was so wiggly and her hands and feet were in front of her face. We think she might have a foot in font of her face in the picture.



I'm also uploading our Christmas photos...better late than never. We did have a wonderful time with family and it was so nice to have my parents home for Christmas for a change.

18 Weeks

Believe it or not, I'm already 18 weeks along. Today I had an appointment and I'm always thrilled to hear that little miracle heartbeat. We scheduled my ultrasound for January 14th. So the countdown begins to when we find out if it's a boy or a girl. Of course, we are counting on baby to cooperate and let us see what gender we are having. So far my nephew Andrew has his vote in for a boy. He has two sisters and would like another boy in the family. I guess we'll see.
Our Christmas was great. We did a lot of traveling in order to see our families. It always seems to go by so fast especially since I work retail and don't get many days off during the holiday season. I'll be posting some photos as soon as I get them developed. My belly has really started popping out there now for all to see. I love being pregnant!!!

Update

Last monday, we went for our 14 wk check-up. Everthing is going great. Baby's heartbeat was around 150. I thought I'd include a picture that Tom took of me at 13.5 wks. Instead of looking like I ate too much for dinner, I'm actually beginning to look pregnant now.
