Memorial Weekend Snacks


Had to post about this awesome box I got right before Memorial Weekend.  My great friends at Frito-Lay sent me a box with all these freebies in it!! 

3 Full size bags of chips, a cooler bag, a recipe card and a dip packet.  We enjoyed the chips a lot. I made one of recipes for B's birthday party, and I made the dip packet too.  Both recipes we're really good.  The recipes are listed below.  I LOVE Frito-lay!   Way to make a holiday weekend and birthday party great!

Mango Salsa Chutney (the one I made)

ingredients:
2 Mangoes
1 Onion
1 Jalapeno, finely chopped (I didn't add this)
1 handful cilantro
Juice of one or two limes
1/4 of 16 oz. jar Tostitos Salsa

Instructions: Chop all ingredients into similar-size pieces (except jalapeno, which should be finely chopped).  Mix together in large bowl.  Serve immediately.

Garden Lime Dip (Plan to make this one soon!)
ingredients:
1 avacado, peeled, pitted and chopped
1 red onion, diced
3 T lime juice
1 16 oz. jar Tostitos Salsa

Instructions: Combine all ingredients in a bowl. Serve immediately.
