We headed down to see our friends not too long ago.  Jamie took these photos since I forgot my camera...can't believe I did that.  But I'm so glad to have some photos...thanks, Jamie.
Our weekend was cold and we did manage to get out a little bit on Saturday.  But the rest of the time we just had fun hanging out indoors.

For B's birthday, she got some roller skates from her nana and papa.  Here is a picture of her all decked out.  I think she looks like she's ready for roller derby, anyone else?

Happy 3rd Birthday to B!!!

Well, she did it.  She turned 3.  Growing up so fast!  We had a great party and several of her little friends were able to come.  This year's theme was Curious George.  She LOVES George and could watch the PBS Curious George shows all day long if I let her.  So of course, we had to have a George cake.

 Two of her other favorite characters are lightning McQueen (a.k.a lightning the queen) and Mater.  So we had a lightning McQueen pinata.  She was pretty excited to whop it.  The party went very well and we had lots of fun.  Thanks to all who came.  It made her party so special!

Memorial Weekend Snacks

Had to post about this awesome box I got right before Memorial Weekend.  My great friends at Frito-Lay sent me a box with all these freebies in it!! 

3 Full size bags of chips, a cooler bag, a recipe card and a dip packet.  We enjoyed the chips a lot. I made one of recipes for B's birthday party, and I made the dip packet too.  Both recipes we're really good.  The recipes are listed below.  I LOVE Frito-lay!   Way to make a holiday weekend and birthday party great!

Mango Salsa Chutney (the one I made)

ingredients:
2 Mangoes
1 Onion
1 Jalapeno, finely chopped (I didn't add this)
1 handful cilantro
Juice of one or two limes
1/4 of 16 oz. jar Tostitos Salsa

Instructions: Chop all ingredients into similar-size pieces (except jalapeno, which should be finely chopped).  Mix together in large bowl.  Serve immediately.

Garden Lime Dip (Plan to make this one soon!)
ingredients:
1 avacado, peeled, pitted and chopped
1 red onion, diced
3 T lime juice
1 16 oz. jar Tostitos Salsa

Instructions: Combine all ingredients in a bowl. Serve immediately.
