Bug Bites

This was a few weeks back when B. was eaten up by bugs. She had 4 bites on her back, some on her legs and arms. She had one that was on her eye lid which swelled quite a bit. Poor kid....who is your mommy? I'd like to have a talk with her about remembering to put bug spray on you!

4th of July Celebration

It was fun being able to celebrate the 4th of July in our new home town. We caught the local parade and then watched the fireworks over the lake. Good times.

We took a picnic dinner to the beach, played in the water and then walked to where they were going to shoot off the fireworks.

Happy 8th Anniversary to us!

On June 25-27, we went to the east side of the state and explored St. Clair and Port Huron. It was a nice little getaway. Tom did pretty well walking around considering his ACL was gone. On Friday we checked in at the St. Clair Inn in St. Clair, MI, and then we headed to an upscale restaurant right on the water called the River Crab. So fun!!

In the morning we headed to Tim Hortons for breakfast and then walked around at the local art fair that was going on. Then we packed up and headed to Port Huron.

It was a great little getaway and so nice to be able to do this before Tom's surgery on his knee.
